Citizens Advice in North and West Kent (CANWK) is an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales.
The charity provides free, independent, confidential, and impartial advice on a range of everyday issues to people across North & West Kent. Spec
ialist advice areas include debt, energy, housing, and immigration advice.

Kent Advice Hub
Kent Advice Hub (KAH)
The Kent Advice Hub is a free, confidential, independent, and impartial advice service. It is aimed at helping people who are struggling with the cost of living and would like advice with a problem they are facing. Advice and support is provided through video call.
The service operates between Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
The service is led by Citizens Advice in North and West Kent, in partnership with a network of other Citizens Advice offices in Kent. It is part-funded by Kent County Council.
Citizens Advice Advisers can support people with a wide range of issues such as budgeting, debt, benefits and immigration.
How to get advice and support
1. Make a video call by visiting your local video kiosk (tablet) at
Swanley and District Foodbank, 50 High Street, Swanley, BR8 8BQ.
Open on Tuesdays from 10:30am – 3:00pm, Wednesdays from 9:30am – 11:30am, and on Fridays from 10:30am – 3:00pm
2. Make a video call, on your digital device from home, by visiting the website: kentadvicehub.com
3. Contact your local Citizens Advice charity – Citizens Advice in North & West Kent’s freephone Adviceline service on 0808 278 7810 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
Your local video kiosk allows people, who may not be digitally confident, to access alternative face-to-face advice. During the video call, you will be able to see and speak with a Citizens Advice advisor.

Call our free national helpline
If you are in financial crisis and live in England or Wales, please call our free national helpline, Help through Hardship, on 0808 2082138 for free (open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, closed on public holidays) to talk confidentially with a trained Citizens Advice adviser. They can help address your crises and provide support to maximise your income, help you navigate the benefits system, and identify any additional grants you could be entitled to. If needed, they’ll issue you with a voucher so you can get an emergency food parcel from your local food bank.
