Thank You Farningham WI!

On the evening of 4th October, Emma gave a talk to Farningham WI about Swanley & District Foodbank.  It was a pleasure to speak to the ladies there about the work we do, explaining about the immediate and the less direct measures we take to help people in crisis, such as partnering with organisations such as With You and One You and the CAB among many others.

At the end of the talk there were several insightful questions and then some delicious puddings which had been made by the members!  Best of all were the numerous donations that had been collected for Emma to take back to the foodbank, many of which were given away on a very busy foodbank session the following day!
