Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

A short time(ish) after arriving at 50 High Street, Swanley & District Foodbank is officially open!

Thanks to John, our chair of trustees and to Sheila, one of our volunteers who have been with us since day one, over 10 years ago, who both agreed to cut the ribbon.  Thanks also to Councillor Lawrence Ball, Chairman of Sevenoaks District Council and his consort, Councillor Chrissy Hudson (also a foodbank trustee) for attending, along with some of our wonderful volunteers and other trustees.

A special thank you for the wonderful Maria of Maria Assia Photography who gave up her Sunday to take these photos and others that you can see on the website, for free.  An incredibly generous donation to the foodbank.
